The Mouzannar family has been in the jewelry business for over 160 years.
It is said that the name Mouzannar – which means belt wearer in Arabic – was acquired because their ancestors (called Saad back in 1857) moved around with their precious merchandise hidden in their belts!
Naoum Mouzannar followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, opening a small jewelry store in the Old Souks of Beirut in the 1960s.
Today, having more than 160 years of history in the fine jewelry industry coursing through his veins, his son Gaby carries on the legacy, with the help and support of his sisters Linda, Carole, and Myrna, his wife Nayla, and his daughters.
After graduating from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in California, Gaby combined his expertise in diamonds and precious stones with his innate fine taste in jewelry design, and took over the family business from his father Naoum in 1993.
Gaby’s mission is to bring expertise, quality, taste and new designs to Naoum Mouzannar and Sons stores. In addition to the constantly updated collections of latest trends, you can find unique pieces designed by Gaby Mouzannar himself, as well as his daughter Melinda’s personally stylized collection.
